The @thekimberleyaustralia Instagram account was started by Scotty Connell, owner and guide at Kimberley Spirit and long time Kimberley local, along with his sister, Melissa Connell, owner of Eden Books and publisher of "100 Things To See". Their mission was to showcase the Kimberley and share it with the world.
During this time they also set up the Company, Destination Kimberley.
In 2021, Scotty handed over the reins to Karen Trezona and her family. We have long lasting family ties to Scotty and tourism in the Kimberley.
