For many, the Kimberley is considered Australia’s final frontier. Wild and remote, it’s a massive region that is three times the size of the UK (and bigger than 75% of the world’s countries!) The raw beauty of the region must be seen to be believed. Whether you see the Kimberley by land or sea, you will leave here feeling enriched and spellbound by the raw beauty of this isolated part of Australia.

Reopening WA’s Regions

Today Mark McGowan, Premier of Western Australia, announced that this Friday, 29 May, all regions of Western Australia will be reopened except for those under Commonwealth Biosecurity Area restrictions and that they are working with the Federal Government to remove the Biosecurity Areas from Friday, June 5.

This means that following 5 June, travel In WA will be open! However, restrictions on travel to remote Aboriginal communities will remain in place pending further consultation.

From Mark McGowan's Facebook post.

“These changes will help support our regional towns and local businesses, as well as allowing Western Australians to reconnect with their friends and family in regional WA.

I urge everyone who can travel to do their bit, get out there, wander around our State and support local businesses.” – Mark McGowan
